Hi Ben,
In addition to the other suggestions.....Not very dramatic, but possibly serviceable: The (inexpensive) GATF RHEM indicator strips which are used to detect poor D50 matches show the effect you want, but not as dramatically as you might like. They go from a continuous magenta(ish) colour (under D50) to one with darker stripes across when the illuminant is (say) tungsten or a poor D50 fluorescent.
Of course going from greenish-blue to red is far more dramatic, as Alexandrite is reported to behave.
