Richard,
Either Fogra's test unit was vastly different from yours -- could have been
super hand-picked by NEC, you could say -- or their rigorous test
methodology failed to bring out the defect that you consistently ran into.
One of the two. It's going to be interesting to read Peter's response, if he
can comment.
