Hi -
I'm a long time lurker - I've learned a lot following the conversations on this list. Now I've been asked to help distribute this call for papers. I believe that many of the regulars here may find this an interesting conference and have ideas and technologies that would be very appropriate. Take a look at the call at the link below and consider a submission.
Last year Michael Bennett and I presented a paper on DNG - I focused on some of the color implications of RAW and specifically the DNG format. This year we are proposing to directly measure (using an x-rite 530 spectro) the colors on a wide range of materials in the various collections in the Library of Congress. I think these example show that while the conference topics are a subset of the topics covered here, they are of interest to many of you.
The deadline for Archiving 2010 abstract submissions has been extended to November 21st. The call for papers is at -

Thanks,
Barry
