I just got an NEC LCD3090WQXi monitor, calibrating with SpectraView II & NEC packaged i1Display v2 sensor.
Auto luminance (ambient light adjustment) is a feature, currently disabled. My monitor is in a windowed room (indirect light) and I may be working day or night.
Would auto luminance be a feature best avoided, or will a calibration be effectively invalidated by the ambient light adjustment?
