I am pc-based so the following may be useless but the only time I've ever seen that when printing to my Epson printer (an 1160 at the time, I use a 4000 now) was when I inadvertently chose Absolute Colormetric as my Rendering Intent--this was in Photoshop...

Not sure if Apeture allows a choice of Rendering Intent but if so, it might be worth checking?
