You're on it Roger! Absolutely yes, the iSis has reduced dE's during GMG profile iteration....with the DTP70, I used to "bottom out" around .35 or so...with the iSis I've seen sub-0.20 dE when the stars align...but even .25 is pretty routine nowadays. Try that with the i1 iO...never happen. Any of you brave enough to measure a chart with the iO, then flip it 180 and measure the chart again and compare the measurements....you won't like what you see. With a RIP as "tight" as GMG, using an iO with it is like putting retread tires on a Ferrari.
I can remember doing some tests a while back where I figured the repeatability of the DTP70 was in the .10-.15 range while the iSis was easily half of that. Now sub-.20 dE repeatability is nothing to sneeze at but if it *can* be better, why not make it better?
