Terry,
Had a chance to measure an IT8.7/4 Random on the iSis, in strips (it works
if there is a few mm of space between the patches, amazingly?) and in patch;
got an average of 0.40 between the two sets of measurements, max of 3. Will
follow your suggestion to flip the chart 180 degrees for curiosity sake...
Thank's / Roger

You're on it Roger! Absolutely yes, the iSis has reduced dE's during GMG
profile iteration....with the DTP70, I used to "bottom out" around .35 or
so...with the iSis I've seen sub-0.20 dE when the stars align...but even .25
is pretty routine nowadays. Try that with the i1 iO...never happen. Any of
you brave enough to measure a chart with the iO, then flip it 180 and
measure the chart again and compare the measurements....you won't like what
you see. With a RIP as "tight" as GMG, using an iO with it is like putting
retread tires on a Ferrari.
I can remember doing some tests a while back where I figured the
repeatability of the DTP70 was in the .10-.15 range while the iSis was
easily half of that. Now sub-.20 dE repeatability is nothing to sneeze at
but if it *can* be better, why not make it better?
TErry
