Many Canon cameras are not designed to work at technical base ISO with lowest possible noise because of limitations of ADC. One needs to understand what is in fact the base ISO of his camera - a matter of terms.

Now, you are telling me as if it is something new -- what I was demonstrating for years, since Kodak SLR was available.
