Quite similar. And in fact different people see the same scene including light sources differently, but let me quote you:
"See OpenEXR. People working in Digital Cinematography are pretty interested in original
scene capture." -- being all for OpenEXR for raw conversion, I'm just pointing out that "original scene capture" differs from subjective scene capture by human eye.
