If only… What that TN actually says (in a very backwards manner) is that nothing is color managed at all on iOS and that each device generation has whatever color gamut and tonal response is native to its display. sRGB is just a baseline Apple considers you might use when authoring content, which all iOS devices **will** otherwise still deviate from, each on a different degree, but at least presumably not dramatically so.
Specially when comparing same RGB values between older generation devices, those produced **very obvious** different colors with no need whatsoever for any kind of trained eye.
