My experience with fine art photographers and Epsons has been that it makes
sense sometimes to have profiles made with a different ink density setting
precisely because it allows you to emphasize the ability of the driver to
discriminate in certain regions. Maybe B&W people want their high Dmax, but
color fine art photographers often want finely discriminated highlight and
medium value tints - in practice one needs to choose where in the gamut one
will keep the best *perceived* accuracy.
