I would ask this question on a Carbon list, because as QT is not actually a
part of Carbon I believe, you should be able to link to QT Lib on 9 and
QT.framework on X - then you can use these APIs on 9 just fine. I know this
has been discussed in the past, and maybe this is different now than it was
previously...
