Thats too bad.

Any idea why this isn't available? It sounds to me like something useful,
for routing audio-streams through ones machines without having to rely
on application-support (for example, an effectsbox which you can hook
up to your favourite MP3 player). Somewhat akin to CoreMIDI's virtual
sources/destinations.
