Hi -
If all streams are always dealt with during IOProc, then what role does a
kAudioDevicePropertyDataSource play in this. If I set the data source
property does that change the number of streams, or does it just change the
source of the data that will appear in those streams? Please explain what
setting the source effects exactly...
ie: Would a device likely have 2 sources and a single 2 channel stream where
the samples would originate from one source or the other but not both. Or
would multiple source devices likely have multiple streams as well where a
stream would be tied to a source.
