Cameron,

You can use the Icon Composer tool (in /Developer/Applications), save the file in the Resources dir of the bundle, and add the property:
<key>CFBundleIconFile</key>
<string>name_of_the_icon_file.icns</string>

in the Info.plist file.

As I mentioned to you earlier, you may have to log out/in again for OS X to register the change (see tn 2043 at <http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn/tn2013.html>).

Hope this helps,

LdS

Is it possible to have custom Finder icons show in the Finder when someone
is looking at my MIDI plugin?

The plugin bundle properties include a CFBundleIconFile property with the
correct icon file name. Which is stored in Resources.

This technique works fine for application bundles; the icons show fine
there.

But the icons just do not show up when looking at the plugin bundle.

Is there some voodoo I can do to get the Finder icons to show up for plugin
bundles?

Thanks!!!!
