From what I understand of what is mLan, mLan is just a software protocol over Firewire.
I see no reason why two Mac using only one Firewire cable and nice CoreAudio/CoreMidi drivers could
not exchange MIDI and Audio from any application, as if the other computer was a standard Audio/Midi device.
That what looks great in mLan.
Just like "VST Link" but much better and much more standard...

But maybe I am completely wrong.
