default device changes?

  • Subject: default device changes?

I'm trying to figure out if CoreAudio announces to applications when the
default device is changed so that they can make any changes they need to
make to update any sound buffers they have allocated to reflect the
change... any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
-rudy
