Our SDK is fully incorporated into Panther, so I would not advise
installing the April 2003 SDK on top of a 10.3.x system. There were
lots of sample code changes, particularly to the PublicUtility code,
between WWDC and the final release of Panther.

all its installers to require restart (as we sometimes use it

I'm just getting started with CoreAudio & went to install the April
2003 SDK. I have to admit that I balked when it told me that it was
going to require a restart. Panther & XCode being well after 4/2003
I was nervous... and that was before reading your reply to Thomas
Hudson. Is the April 2003 SDK okay with Panther & XCode? What
manner of subterranean items does this SDK install?
