there's a Technical Q&A on this subject (i noticed it yesterday while
looking for something else). it's QA1321
http://developer.apple.com/qa/qa2001/qa1321.html
the short version is there's leftover stuff from having installed GM
Xcode over a prerelease developer preview without uninstalling the
preview first. QA1321 explains where the leftover file is and how to
get rid of it.

On my end, I can compile the HALLab project, but it doesn't start
correctly... I keep having the following output in the problem console
when it starts, even after having re-installed the DevTools:
dyld:
/Developer/Examples/CoreAudio/HAL/HALLab/build/HALLab.app/Contents/
MacOS/HALLab Undefined symbols:
Foundation undefined reference to _objc_exception_set_functions
expected to be defined in
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ZeroLink.framework/Versions/A/
Resources/libobjc.A.dylib
HALLab has exited due to signal 5 (SIGTRAP).
How can I make this work?
Thanks
Hugues
