Sailor

<snip>
We haven't implemented panning for stereo sources..

The lack of decent mixing is a major hindrance for us host developers. Is panning stereo sources really hard?

Is writing a mixer really hard? I want to rewrite Rax to allow arbitrary routing between devices etc. but the lack of a decent mixer is making it seem rather futile.

Can we not have an example AU mixer project on which to hack? I've attempted a couple of times but always gotten tangled by how much of the Effect stuff to throw away, and then there's the whole summing multiple inputs to outputs...

My last plea landed with a thud, I hope this one doesn't....

Thanks,

Robert.
