Programmatically Launch Audio MIDI Setup?

Hi
In years past, our application had a MIDI menu item which would read 'OMS MIDI
Setup' or 'FreeMIDI Setup', if one of those drivers was selected.
Symmetry and tradition might suggest that this position in our OSX MIDI menu
should read 'Open Audio MIDI Setup'.
Though not mandatory, this menu item could be a convenience for users who may
not have created a Dock Shortcut to AMS. Or for newbies who might not even know
that Audio MIDI Setup is a necessary MIDI configuration utility.
Is there a reliable, relatively simple way to programmatically launch AMS?
Problems that come to mind-- perhaps AMS would have a different path or name,
depending on the OSX version, language localization, or if the user has moved
the AMS application?
I looked at the file-type of AMS MIDI setup documents (Get Info on an AMS MIDI
Setup document), but my desktop system thinks that this file-type belongs to
MOTU Audio Setup, rather than AMS. So it doesn't appear reliable to launch AMS
by file association.
Is there a decent way to reliably, programmatically launch AMS?
Thanks
James Chandler Jr.
