Logic 7 very bang hang

  • Subject: Logic 7 very bang hang

Dear All,

I am posting here in desperation. I have Logic 7 installed on 2 machines
(1.8Ghz G5 and 1.2 GHz G4 Powerbook, both running 10.3.6).
On both the machine when I try to open one of my clients files, Logic hangs
the whole computer at the point where it should be telling me that the midi
interface specified in the document no longer exist etc. The hang is so bad
I have to hard restart, I have even tried SSHing into the machine when it
hangs but I get no response. There seems to be nothing in any crash logs the
only thing that might be relevant is this from the system log

Nov 23 10:10:37 localhost kernel:
IOAudioStream[0x1d92f00]::clipIfNecessary() - Error: attempting to clip to a
position more than one buffer ahead of last clip position (0,68d)->(1,ff4).
Nov 23 10:10:37 localhost kernel:
IOAudioStream[0x1d92f00]::clipIfNecessary() - adjusting clipped position to
(1,68d)

Needless to say on both machine I have repaired permissions, deleted
preferences, re-installed all to no avail.

Anybody got any ideas

Thanks in advance

Dave Hage
