AuBase::GetLatency()

Hi,

a question about AuBase::GetLatency().

When is the host likely/required to call this? During initialisation? Or constantly?

In particular, should it work if a plug-in wants to change its latency on the fly?

Also, if this is a newish call (I don't recall noticing it before) is it known which hosts support it?
