Right - I emailed the API list about a month ago (but can't seem to
find the email now!) but:
Obviously I can remove that check by commenting out those lines,
but if this is Apple's policy on this then the SDK should probably
change.
Yes, this is the change that's needed; we decided to remove the check
for the component type for the next SDK release (thanks for the heads
up though Os)
