Ogg vorbis

As many of you know the Ogg Vorbis component that allowed
import/playback/export of .ogg files in QT from Source Forge is now broken
under QT7 and will crash if invoked.

As I understand it, the ogg 'sdec' is SoundMgr based and now incompatible
with the CoreAudio path that QT is setting up. So is the solution to write a
CoreAudio codec? Are Codecs a kind of AU? Is there a sample project to start
from, or better yet, anyone written one yet?

Thanks,
