kAudioUnitErr_TooManyFramesToProcess

Hello.

I have an AUGraph set up to do some offline audio processing and I sometimes (depending on formats) get kAudioUnitErr_TooManyFramesToProcess. How can I determine the largest number of frames that I can use when I call AudioUnitRender on the output unit of the graph? I could reduce the number of frames being requested when I receive this error, but this is hardly elegant.

Thanks.
