I think this situation is not fixable at the moment. It's not defined
if an AudioUnit's Carbon GUI represenation should work with a composited
window or not.
I hope that this situation will be fixed with i386, so that hosts
compiled for i386 will always use a composited window for the plugins
and maybe the CA team can try to add this to the AU docs.
