Audio files and loop marker question

  • Subject: Audio files and loop marker question

Hi all,

I have a bunch of WAVE and AIFF files that I need to process and copy.
The original files have start and end markers and loop markers in them
describing the start, end, loop start and end points in the file for a
synthesizer application that is playing them back.

I finally managed to get ExtAudioFile to create the files I need but
how do I add the loop marker information back in, or read it from the
source file in the first place?

Are there ExtAudioFile calls that get/set marker information? Note
that I am not talking about Apple Loops here, this is regular
information like the standard marker chunk of an AIFF file, or the
markers and "regions" in a SoundDesigner II file...

Any help or pointer to more information/the right framework to call
would be highly appreciated!

Thanks,
Tahome
