Plugin/unplugin headphones on the MacBook

Hi,

One of our user report a problem that occurs when plugin/unplugin headphones on the MacBook. It seems that the HAL audio context is changed in a way that disturb our user-land CoreAudio driver, that then is removed from the available drivers in the SoundPreferences for example.

What happens exactly when headphones are plugged/unplugged on the MacBook? Do we need to handle a specific notification coming from the HAL?

Thanks

Stephane Letz
