DTS output over integrated S/PDIF interface

Hi,

I have a problem regarding output of raw DTS frames over the S/PDIF interface. I managed to output normal AC3 data by wrapping AC3 frames with an S/PDIF header according to IEC 60958-3. Works great. But if I modify my sources to support DTS frames according to IEC 60958-5, the audio receiver remains silent. So I read in a thread that DTS is not explicitly supported, but then on the other hand the DVD Player seems to support DTS output. I verified everything and I am pretty sure that the spdif packet is valid and that the endian stuff is correct. I am using the kAudioFormat60958AC3 stream format with the coded sampling rate of the DTS stream. Is there anything I forgot to add when using DTS? Maybe somebody can point me in the right direction.

Kind Regards
Martin Hering
