Hello,
I'm trying to read read a file I buy on the iTunes store using the
CoreAudio API. This file is an iTunes+ file, so it does not contains
DRM, and it is a 256 kbps/44100 kHz file with a .m4a extension. The
file utility report it as a "MPEG-4 Advanced Audio Coding file (AAC)"
I can read it on any computer with standard player (VLC...), but when
i try to open it with AudioFileOpen, it returns a -6 error code.
Is it a known limitation in the CoreAudio AAC decoder? Is there an
other way to decode it?
