This is a problem with the way that the file was updated when it was
converted to the iTunes Plus format. We have a fix to be released in
the next Tiger SU. If you can send me an example of a file you are
having trouble with, we can double check with that file to make sure
that we aren't missing anything

Hello,
I'm trying to read read a file I buy on the iTunes store using the
CoreAudio API. This file is an iTunes+ file, so it does not
contains DRM, and it is a 256 kbps/44100 kHz file with a .m4a
extension. The file utility report it as a "MPEG-4 Advanced Audio
Coding file (AAC)"
I can read it on any computer with standard player (VLC...), but
when i try to open it with AudioFileOpen, it returns a -6 error code.
Is it a known limitation in the CoreAudio AAC decoder? Is there an
other way to decode it?
