We've recently had a report of a problem with the AU Templates in XCode for generating an AU and a Cocoa View.

The problem exists when using the Release build style, but is not present in the Debug build style.

The change that you would need to make is: open the info window for the CocoaUI target, and copy the value for 'Product Name' from the Debug configuration. Then select 'All Configurations', and paste in the Debug config's product name into the field

We will have this fixed in a later version of the dev tools
