Please forgive the sarcasm in my previous post as well as my careless

I understand your frustration, and as you would have seen we have
investigated and posted a workaround to your problem.
Apparently, according to the information available, the people posting
on this topic have not seen a workaround to this problem.
These questions may seem "banal" to you, but that is really because
you don't understand the complexity of the situation - different
versions of XCode have different versions of the templates that have
different potential issues resolved, and so forth. I think you
should at least do us the courtesy of assuming that the questions we
are asking have some baring on the problem - we endeavour not to ask
truly irrelevent questions. I was not aware that your "favourite
colour" affected the way that XCode templates worked, so I'll
certainly follow up with the engineer concerned and find out how
that affects this problem space; that does indeed seem like an
irrelevant question to me.
Either I do not understand the complexity of the situation, or perhaps
I did not properly elucidate the simplicity of the problem. Put as
tersely as possible this has been broken for (at least) the last three
major releases of XCode and it appears irrelevant what version of the
OS (Tiger or Leopard) is installed.
I think what is of greater concern is the process which allowed this
issue to remain uncorrected for so many dev-tool releases. I believe
that if you welcome this issue as an opportunity to correct the root
cause, we'll all be a happier lot as a result.
I thank you for your time. It really is fantastic that Apple hosts
this list, and that you and your team participate in dialogue here. As
Tahome pointed out we have high expectations based on the quality of
goods thus far delivered. So, please, in that light, take this thread
as a thickly veiled compliment. We expect much less from your
counterparts at MSDN! :-)
