Logic key command oddness with AU

Hi,

I sent the below to the logic-au list a while back, but never received
a reply. I thought I'd try it here.

cheers,
os.

I'm experiencing odd behaviour with Logic 8.0.2 and my plug-in
Augustus Loop (1.8.0) which you can download here:
http://www.expert-sleepers.co.uk/downloads/augustusloop_1_8_0.tgz

I've bound a key command to the "Next Plug-in Setting" command.

If I load my plug-in and use the key command, nothing happens. If I
then switch the View to the 'Controls' view, then the key command
works. If I then switch the View to the default plug-in GUI, the key
command continues to work.

Can anyone explain this? Is this a Logic problem, or mine?
