Hi Os,

but never received a reply. I thought I'd try it here.
The problem may lay inside the Carbon/Cocoa bridging that Logic (being a Cocoa
application) must use to host the "foreign" Carbon views many AUs are providing.
Under certain circumstances keyboard events get lost on their way between the Cocoa
and the Carbon world, most likely on their way back form Carbon if they were not handled
there. We are aware of the issue in general and are investigating it, but it can't hurt to file
a bug report for your particular problem scenario.
Before filing a bug report, please make sure your key command handler returns the proper
"not handled" response for the key stroke in question.

One way for plug-ins to avoid the problem is to implement a Cocoa view which will live
natively in Logic - but it's understood that depending on how your UI code is written this can
be anything from a rather easy job up to a mayor several-month development effort.

Best,
Stefan

I'm experiencing odd behaviour with Logic 8.0.2 and my plug-in
Augustus Loop (1.8.0) which you can download here:
http://www.expert-sleepers.co.uk/downloads/augustusloop_1_8_0.tgz

I've bound a key command to the "Next Plug-in Setting" command.

If I load my plug-in and use the key command, nothing happens. If I
then switch the View to the 'Controls' view, then the key command
works. If I then switch the View to the default plug-in GUI, the key
command continues to work.

Can anyone explain this? Is this a Logic problem, or mine?
