I'd disagree. Two different places to set default input/output
devices...? Anyway, if to have this in a separate utility at
all, why not to have an "Advanced" button in Sound pref panel
that would lead to AMS? As I've mentioned in the other message
the name "Audio MIDI Setup" (there is no even "and" between
"Audio" and "MIDI") and the piano keyboard icon didn't ring a
bell in my head that this could be related to speaker and mic
sample rate change. The "Audio" and "MIDI" are somewhat
different concepts (at least in my head), why to have a single
utility for both? I'd separate the two, put audio related stuff
in the sound panel (maybe in the advanced tab) and leave MIDI
in a separate "MIDI Setup" utility.
