host for offline units?

First of all, I'm trying to correct some time-stretched material I have,
and would like to try the AUTimePitch or the AUVarispeed to see if that
can work in such a situation. Which would you guys recommend?

Second, I can't find a host program with which to experiement. Logic and
AULab don't seem to allow the loading of these effects, since they're
offline (auol). Does anyone know of a host that will let me do it? Thanks,

-Kevin Dixon
