HAL: Input, Output latency

  • Subject: HAL: Input, Output latency

Hi all,

I have a basic question coming up: The HALLAB tells me the security and the input/output samples.

I am still not sure what the input/output info refers to ? Is this supposed to be the delay due to the A/D (D/A) conversion ? E.g. one of my cards is an Edirol USB Device (UA-25). It tells me of 293 samples input latency, and this confuses me if it was *just* the A/D latency (since it appears to be pretty high).

Thanks in advance
