As always, BugReport.Apple.com is the best place for suggestions like
these, where they can be tracked instead of lost in the traffic of a
mailing list.

Speaking as a developer who spent quite enough time debugging a
previous incarnation of the "broken template" bug when I had to
write my first AU under a tight schedule...
