Does Live support Cocoa views?
No, this is the work-around where you spawn a separate Cocoa view for
Carbon only hosts. I meant to say that my Carbon view couldn't find
the Cocoa view bundle from within Live not that Live itself couldn't
find it. Either way if I hard code the path to the view bundle then
said bundle is located. Feels wrong, but works and there are only two
places to install an AU anyway.

Hi,
I'm working on this problem right now in my code. I'm using the
technique whereby one fakes a Carbon UI by creating an additional
Cocoa window. This is working fine in AULab but, for example,
Ableton Live can't seem to find the CocoaView bundle so it can't
find the view factory class. Neither the bundleWithIdentifier nor
bundleWithPath methods are returning the bundle in Live. Any ideas?
