I'm not really sure to understand the programming side behind the
curtain. Sorry!
Thus, I've one question:
Being mostly a musician playing concerts with a software setup on a
Mac Book Pro, I'm going to play with the StringPort by Keith McMillen
Instruments with its USB2 output to my MBP: <http://www.keithmcmillen.com/products/stringport

Is it then possible to output the processed hexaphonic signal (that is
6 multi-mono channels, 1 per string) from, say, "AU Lab" to another
USB2 bus to send these 6 channels (separate, surround?) into an HDMI
audio receiver?
If yes, what receiver would you consider for a live setup?
