MACE and QDesign2 with x86_64

Hi,

I have noticed that none of the MACE 3:1, MACE 6:1 and QDesign2 music
codecs can be used for reading or writing aifc or caf files when
compiling for the x86_64 architecture. Everything is fine on ppc and
i386. Is this a know behavior, expected behavior, or a bug that I
should report?

Simple test case:

/tmp/test % arch -arch i386 afconvert test.wav -o test.aifc -d 'MAC3' -f 'AIFC'
/tmp/test % arch -arch x86_64 afconvert test.wav -o test.aifc -d 'MAC3' -f 'AIFC'
Error: ExtAudioFileSetProperty ('cfmt') failed ('fmt?')
/tmp/test %
