you are probably building x86_64 (64 bit), but by default auval runs i386 (32 bit)

So, in your project, make sure you are building both architectures. You can also see the man entry for auval (and auval -h)

Hi there,

I'm just starting with developing AU's, and have an issue already !

When I select an AU Effect project with Cocoa view, it builds fine and the component is recognised by auval and aulab etc.

However, when I select AU Effect without Cocoa view, it builds ok but the component is not recognised by auval....

What do you have to do to get it working ?

Cheers,

Craig
