According to this:
AudioFile is threadsafe but ExtAudioFile is not. At least, that's
what I imply from what is written there.
The AudioFile read and write API's are threadsafe, in that you specify the
file offset in each call, so there is at least hope. I guess you will need
to give your code a bit of a hammering to be sure. Perhaps you could post
back here whether it all works. I for one would like to
know.
