No - there are some processes that you cannot do in real=time. Reverse the contents of a file, normalise, etc...

Yes, well that is the basic contract of an auol - you tell it how many samples you want to process, and it will tell you which samples it wants to see from that at any given time. They represent truly an off-line processing model
