Daniel,
As stated before, this is a Full Speed only interface. I would suspect
that stereo in and out are supported. With full speed being limited to
1023 bytes per frame you could do several channels either in or out...
but the questions would be???? what's going to play it.
The Atmel UCA3 I think as I recall can do Full and High Speed. But would
be a little more processor than what you would need.

Hmm, that doesn't say anything about Class 2 or high speed mode, though.
The question is: would an UAC2 HS device which offers the configurations

I tried a Class 1 (Proton) 24/96 unit and it would not enumerate.
Was this the only configuration the descriptors allowed or was the mere
fact of an announced such 24/96 mode be enough to reject the device?
And what about multichannel devices? It would be good to get an
comprehensive overview from Apple about what's possible (and what will
be supported in the future).
