I'm pretty sure Digital Performer 6 prefers Cocoa?
Carbon support for my plugins is aimed solely at Ableton Live
(<8.0.5). It simply throws up a Cocoa window in place of the Carbon
one (yeah that old chestnut) and then hides the host's plugin window
so no one would ever know. Had no complaints so far and it works with
Live because Live's plugin window is just a panel with no preset/
bypass controls. I write instruments plugins though so I don't need
to consider as many hosts.
What about things like NI Kore? I need to investigate for myself but
has anyone got any experience of AUs running on Kore/Kore2?
Other hosts to add to the list:
√ Renoise
√ Five12 Numerology
? Cockos Reaper
? Mutools Mulab
√ Digidesign ProTools 10... just kidding.
