Hi CA List,
I wanted to follow up on advice I received previously...
The challenge is to have a driver or AU that is linked to a stereo USB device, but exposes 5.1/7.1 to the OS for FX processing.
The desire is to have have the FX only available with the specific device.
When I looked into this in the past AUs were not an option, but I would be very happy to hear that has changed.
Or will this still require at least a kext/usbaudioplugin?
