kAudioUnitSubType_Sampler

Lion adds kAudioUnitSubType_Sampler.  It's defined in AUComponent.h, but I see nothing in there describing what, if any, properties or parameters it can be configured with.  I think it was also demo'ed in WWDC session 411, but I haven't found the sample code for that session.

Is there any meaningful documentation or examples for using this unit?  I've put it at the front of an AUGraph, hoping it's going to magically pick up MIDI events, but so far I'm not hearing anything.

So far, Google gets 3 hits for "kAudioUnitSubType_Sampler", and Bing gets 2.  I guess posting this message will at least double that.  :-)
